    Thanks for reaching out! We use the Action Scheduler library developed by WooCommerce to schedule and run automated tasks in the background. That is why you’re seeing this behavior on your site.

    Could you please try following this guide and you should be able to troubleshoot this issue further.

    Woocommerce helped me with these issues allready.
    Here is their answer for the problem:

    I’ve investigated your site further and noticed that there was a task that was stuck In-Progress in the Action Scheduler.

    After clearing out the task, it seems to have sorted out the issues you are seeing with past-due actions piling up and the Action Scheduler seems to be running properly.
    Things should be back to normal from now on ??
