    Thanks for your question!

    According to WordPress core developers, there is a long-term goal that is to gradually migrate WP Admin to Vanilla JS. Since there is a lot of code to migrate, it will take a while… and this also will include WooCommerce core.

    But even if all of WP-Admin is migrated to Vanilla JS, the jQuery libraries and plugins will still be available to enqueue through Script Loader, to maintain backward compatibility.
