• I’m stuck. Need some help please! I’ve exhausted all my experts for help.

I run the latest version of WordPress with twenty ten theme on my main website. I have installed Woocomerce on to a second installation of WordPress. Using the Resposive theme.

The problem is that the perma-link structure is not behaving. Book-store is the link address. But when any of the store pages or functions are clicked I get an error message and in the address bar the address is https://thejosephplan.org/book-store/book-store/……

It is supposed to be https://thejosephplan.org/book-store/..(page)

It duplicates “book-store”for all of the WooCommerce pages and about three local guros have looked at it and all came up stumped. We don’t know if it is a WordPress, theme or WooCommerce issue. Or do I have something botched up?

Would appreciate some expert advice here. I’m a novice.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

  • What happens when you use the default permalink structure?

ESML What is going on? I set the structure to default like you suggested and everything works well. Thanks a bunch.

Do you know of an reference that could explain this to me? Or can you explain. We’ve been pulling our hair out over this.

Because I would rather use a descriptive link instead of a number that is meaningless to the user and me.

Thanks again. Just before I got your message I was going to change themes entirely.

Have you tried switching back to your custom structure again? If so, does the problem, reappear?
