Can WooCommerce be dumb at this point?

I purchased a plugin on WooCommerce today and I did not receive any email to verify my account. The system keeps asking me to verify my email. I click to receive a new email and the system tells me to access wordpress.com (WHY if I created an account with you) but no notifications were received on my wordpress.com account.

Why is this mandatory to send you an email via your website? It should NEVER BE.
Yes, I’d like Woo to send me updates about products, exclusive promotions and discounts. I can opt out of receiving these communications at any time.

Why do not you do things easier?

    Hello mark8181,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand you have purchased a plugin at WooCommerce.com and now you are facing issues with email verification.

May I ask which plugin you purchased? It would be best to contact that plugin’s support by creating a ticket via your WooCommerce.com account.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us again if you have more questions or concerns.
We are here to help ??

    Best regards.

Hello Zubair and thank you for the answer.

    I purchased AutomateWoo.

In my previous message I CLEARLY wrote that I cannot anyone unless I verify the email. And that is why I wrote this message.

I am in a loop. If I do not verify the email, I cannot contact the support, if I cannot contact the support I cannot verify the email.

    Hello mark8181,

    Thank you for your reply.

To confirm, can you access your WooCommerce.com account?
If not then I recommend you recover your account.

Also, please verify your email address is correct on WooCommerce.com.
If there is a typo, you will not receive the verification email.

Lastly, share your Order ID of the AutomateWoo purchase with me.
This will help locate your order in the system and help you further.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Hello Zubair.

I can access WooCommerce account. I can access wordpress.com

However the emails for WooCommerce and for wordpress.com are different.

I tried again to restore the password from the phone, before even login in the account, but I can’t receive the reset email. It’s all a mess. I would never expect this mess from a big company as WooCommerce.

    Hi @mark8181,

I’d like to better understand the issue, as your response seems a bit unclear.

You mentioned that you can access both your WooCommerce and WordPress.com accounts, and that they use different email addresses. However, you also mentioned that you’re unable to verify your email and that you tried restoring your password, which seems to contradict your earlier statement.

Could you clarify the exact issue you’re experiencing? Are you unable to log into WooCommerce.com? If so, what happens when you try to log in—are you having trouble remembering your password?

The more details you can provide, the better I’ll be able to assist you.

Well, at this point I don’t think I’ll be surprised more than I already am.

I do can access WooCommerce with one email, I do can access wordpress with a different email.

However, when I am connected in WooCommerce, the site keeps asking me to verify the email. Which I never received. And when I access my wordpress, which has a different email, I obviously don’t find any “verify email” notification.

It would be veeeery simple if you read my words and considered them correct. And tried to find a solution to the issue.

    Hello mark8181,

    Thank you for your reply.

The good news is we have found you in our database.
Looks like the issue occurred because you have different emails on WordPress.com and WooCommerce.com.

Please login to WordPress.com using your email info@b******k.co.uk.
Then proceed with the email verification process.

Let me know how it goes.
I am here for your assistance.

    Best regards.

Sorry mate, but I guess that the language is a barrier.

I told you 3 times that I CANNOT verify the account info@b…..co.uk because I don’t get the notification to verify and if I try to reset the password, I never receive the email to reset it.

If you are unfamiliar with English, you shouldn’t be here replying to English speakers because it causes delays and it’s an extra effort from your side and mine.

Between you and your colleagues you asked the same thing 3 times.

Let’s find another solution: would it be possible to replace the info@b….co.uk with the same email I have in the wordpress.com ?

If it is possible please replace the email on my wordpress account into the WooCommerce account.

    Thanks.

    Hello mark8181,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand your frustration, please allow me to clarify.
Previously you had ab******[email protected] set for WordPress.com and info@b….co.uk set WooCommerce.com.

This was causing a problem, so we updated your WordPress.com account and set info@b….co.uk as an email address. This way you have the same email address for WordPress.com and WooCommerce.com.

Now next step is to verify the email address.
    You mentioned:

I don’t get the notification to verify and if I try to reset the password, I never receive the email to reset it.

I want to confirm if you can log in to WordPress.com using info@b….co.uk.
I am asking because previously you had a different email and we made this update from our end.

If you can log in to WordPress.com using info@b….co.uk and still not receiving verification email then I can look into that issue next.

I realize I am asking for some information again but it is to confirm what has been done and what we need to do next. I appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Looking forward to your response. ??
