Woocommerce variation images not displayed when ShortPixel AI is activated

I run several client sites that use Shortpixel AI. We’ve recently discovered that woocommerce product variation images are not displayed when the plugin is activated. They used to work before. I’ve turned off all caching/optimization plugins and they still won’t show unless Shortpixel AI is deactivated. We are using the Divi Premium theme on both sites experiencing this – we’ve not tested with other themes. I’ve played around with AI settings to no avail. It could be a bug.

As paying clients for both sites – unique API keys, we thought of submitting a ticket via the Shortpixel website client dashboard, but the functionality appears to be missing.
