Woocommerce variable stock management options

Hi everyone,
I have a woocommerce store that sells variable products. I have created variables for my products, but the snag is that it only effectively allows me to manage the stock of the whole “variable” I need to be able to manage it on “attribute” level, as my products are stored in their respective parts and then only assembled when the customer orders them… so it is a bit of a “one to many” situation, where I might have one base type but have 3 different options to put on the base, and those options need to be managed individually (all have their own SKU). At the moment it allows me to manage the stock of the combined variables say: “Black base with white front” and wants me to then add a quantity for that entity, when in reality I need to be able to add the quantity for the “black base” and the “white front” separately in order to manage stock correctly. Any ideas of how I could manage this? Your help would be greatly appreciated!
