woocommerce user rights
-
Hey hey!
For a school assignment I’m supposed to put up a specific webshop. It’s a bit of a marketplace concept and I choose to use WordPress & Woocommerce.
In this concept, there are two types of users. The “buyers” and the “sellers”. Basically, when users decide to register, I want them to pick between those two. The “sellers” are supposed to get some specific rights automatically.
The ideal situation would be that there will be a subcatogory created in woocommerce automatically as soon as the “seller” registers. The “seller” is supposed to be only able to add products in this specific category. Next to that, the seller is also able to set a location(country/state) and paypal address for that subcategory. That should be the only back-end rights of those users.
I have searched for a while, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find anything. My question is: is there an extension or plugin for these features? If not, can anyone please explain to me how I can achieve this?
Thank you so much for your time.
