Woocommerce update 2.6.12 messes-up visual composer accordeon tabs

    Afte installing the latest WC update, my visual composer accordeon tabs show completely unfolded (messed-up) on my site (home page and shop page). This problem also occured with the previous WP version (just updated to 4.7.1).
    For quick solution I restored my back-up website-files, so my site is showing normally again.
    I tried this whole process (installing WC update, check site, restoring back-up) for 3 times now. Hope there is a fix, so I can again catch up on WC updates

  • I think you need to go to Visual Composer tech support for support on their product. www.remarpro.com forum members don’t have access to it and can’t support it.

    Its probably not safe to assume that a plugin will support the latest versions of WordPress and/or WooCommerce as soon as they come out. Check their system requirements and changelog to see what WordPress and WooCommerce versions they support. They may be working on an update.

    Thanks for your reply Lorro. I have contacted the theme author (Boxy Studio, Garnish theme), that had “build in” the Visual Composer plugin. Hope he can help.

    Theme author did not respond yet, but I have tried the following:
    1. Did put my website on staging
    2. deactivated and deleted the WP Bakery Visual Composer plugin
    3. Updated Woocommerce to version 2.6.12
    4. Reinstalled and activated WP Bakery Visual Composer plugin
    Website did perform without errors or messed-up tabs and accordion lay-out
    So I did perform steps 1 until 4 on my “real” website thought it was OK. But then I refreshed the screen …. Again messe-up Visual composer tabs and accordeon sheets.
    Must wait till the theme author responses ;-(

    Kept on wondering why the site on staging did perform great and the same actions on the ‘real’ site did not have the same result. So I tried again (steps 1 until 4 mentioned before). This time with suc6. Yeah!
    Though I cannot explain why it did work this time.

    And there was WC update 2.6.14 that again also did completely mess up my WP Visual Composer accordeon and tab structure. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
