Hi there any help would be great. So i would really like to move onto using all in one, but i have a problem. At the moment i can set ‘Product Title Format’ using e.g – %tax_pa_brand% :

Is there no option to do this for the description meta?

    Thanks

    Paul

What is %tax_pa_brand%? That’s not a standard taxonomy in WooCommerce.

Hey there @wpsmort Steve. On my Product Title Format: i have lots of these, I’m not 100% sure. i think it must be the attributes i use, as i have an option like that for all the attributes i have added e.g – %tax_pa_colour% – %tax_pa_sleeve-style% – %tax_pa_colour% : So for my page title i use : %tax_pa_brand% – %tax_pa_size% – %blog_title%.

So i was just wondering if there is also away to set the same for the description? so every product would read that title then the meta would read in the same way.

    Thanks

If you upgrade to All in One SEO Pack Pro you can control the SEO on attributes.

Hi Steve @wpsmort thanks for the reply. No problem upgrading if i need to but What can i exactly control though? Can i do as above? Set the description. As i do not need to be able to add meta to the attributes, as i can already do this.

I would just need to use as above – %tax_pa_brand% – %tax_pa_size% as a default description like i can with the title.

    Thanks again

Those are not supported title formats for All in One SEO Pack. Only %taxonomy_title% and %taxonomy_description% are supported. I’ve yet to see any example of an attribute page that is crawlable by search engines. It doesn’t appear to me that WooCommerce creates a taxonomy archive page for any attributes. I tested this on a new install of WordPress running Twenty Seventeen and WooCommerce and see no way to view a taxonomy archive page for attributes. If search engines can’t crawl these pages then there’s no reason to set titles and descriptions for them. If you have an example of a taxonomy archive page that is publicly accessible on your site then please provide it.

Hi Steve @wpsmort – Thanks for the reply. Oh Perhaps I’m not understanding this right at all then, as I’m no expert, all i know is i use the e.g %tax_pa_brand% & it change the title perfectly.

here is a screen shot of the options i have – https://s23.postimg.org/coxdjsccr/Screen_Shot_2017_02_14_at_22_08_31.png

Think I’ve got a little confused here by them options there… So is it not possible to have a preset description from woocomemrce attributes?

    Thanks again

That string is not valid for descriptions, only titles.
