Hi! I am really having trouble getting the basic Taxes functionality in WooCommerce to work on my new site.

Taxes are not being applied to any products at all. I did read through old threads here about deleting transients and deleting the whole tax setup and that fixed it for some people.

However, in my case it did not help. So I really need help to get taxes to be calculated on products.

One note however, taxes are being calculated, applied and shown correctly for shipping, but not for any products..

Any tips from someone on why this basic functionality might not be working? I’ve already tried to delete the entire tax setup via the Settings menu in WooCommerce and also removed transients – but did not help in my case.

You haven’t established a country or an area there. You just left them blank with asterisks. Man Norway is high taxes! Just for a reference, here’s an example on my Demo site.

Hi! I’ve tried everything, specifying country, leaving it blank, adding all countries. Nothing helps, no taxes applied to any products ??

Should mention that this is my 15th WooCommerce tax setup for Norway, so very familiar. Don’t know where the error/bug is…

Ah. Well that’s not good. Going to need a systems report then.

Go to?WooCommerce?>?Status?>?Get Systems Report?and pasting that here inside using?Code Block please.

A guy from WPML actually found the error for me. I used cart2cart.net because I am migrating a store from Shopify to WooCommerce.. And the cart2cart automatic migration tool set “taxable status: None” on all 900 products (thanks …. )

So issue fixed, and I would never ever even thought to check that setting on each product, because it’s always default to “Taxable”.. Well, not in my case after using cart2cart..

Wow. Good find! MigrationPro is by far the best migration for future ref.
