    Hello, it′s us again!

we implemented our woocommerce store now. Also we activated the woocommerce sync to import all informations from the transactions to the crm.

We have tested the function with one test order, and all worked fine.

We are now wondering if it′s also possible to use the basic auto-generated reference lodged in the invoice settings to get a consecutive invoice reference for woocommerce- and manual created invoices. By now it uses “woo-ORDER-ID” and for the manual invoices our prefix.

Also we have activated the tick to create invoices from your woocommerce orders in the crm settings.
Is there an option imaginable to check the order first manually and then get generate the woocommerce invoice, for example when changing the order status from “on hold” to “outstanding payment”?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi there, @edvanture,

Yes, it’s possible to have the auto-generated reference for both WooCommerce and manually created invoices. The Jetpack CRM allows you to customize the display format reference for your WooCommerce orders and manually created invoices. You need to adjust the settings found in Jetpack CRM -> Settings -> Invoicing > General Invoice Settings.

However, please note that the auto-generated references might not form a perfect sequence because WooCommerce orders and manually created invoices are treated as separate entities and they generate their own sequences. WooCommerce orders commonly use the ‘Woo-order-ID’ format while manually created invoices use a different one defined in the Jetpack CRM settings.

If you need a continuous sequence for both, you might need to have customization done, which could involve coding or the usage of a plugin that can handle this. The goal would be to create a sequence that uses the same counter for both WooCommerce and manually created invoices, and that’s out of our scope of support.

You can get assistance from a developer or approach the WooCommerce or WordPress community for suggestions.

    Hope that answers your question!
