Woocommerce Subscriptions subscriber default roles not working

  • I use the woocommerce subscriptions and I’m having problems with the default subscription role.

    I have changed the default subscriber role to Subscription Paid but when somebody signs up, he goes into the system as customer.

    Why would that be happening?
