[Plugin WooCommerce: Subscriptions] not showing in stripe

Hello, I could really use your help with a problem a client is having.

I set up WooCommerce Subscriptions for a clients, with the payment methods as Paypal and Stripe. The client wanted the first month to be free, so I set up a 100% one time discount, so the first month is free, then the full price every month after.

The client has many orders around the start and middle of December, but sees nothing in his stripe account about it. The orders are visible in wordpress/woocommerce/orders page, but he is concerned and wants an answer from me as to why he cannot see his subscriptions in Stripe.

I am not sure what to tell him, my thoughts are that one the day the subscription will be charged he will see it in his account.

Please can someone confirm what is supposed to happen with Stripe? Would WooCommerce subs be visible in stripe? or are they only stored in woo then the amount charged when needed?
