WooCommerce Subscriptions Compatibility

With WooCommerce Subscriptions compatibility the documentation indicates that you can give points for initial subscriptions and for subscriptions renewals. Is there any detailed documentation on how this works that I can read? In general, I have a couple of questions that relate to this capability. 1. When a person person makes the initial purchase of a yearly subscription type of product, can the person redeem those points at the time of purchase to get a discount off of the initial subscription? 2. Assume that the subscription will auto renew on the anniversary of the initial subscription date. Can points be earned on the anniversary date and also applied and billed automatically.

I’m ultimately trying to determine if points can be earned and rewarded automatically when a subscription is renewed. The subscriptions renewals are currently set up to auto renew.
