WooCommerce Subscriptions and switching from official Stripe plugin

    Hi there,

    We currently have several subscriptions using automatic monthly payments via the official WC Stripe plugin. I’m now wanting to change to your plugin instead, as it is much better.

    When switching from the official plugin, is previous Stripe data retained on a subscription? i.e. the subscription would be charged as normal at the next payment date and the customer would not need to re-add it manually.

    Hi @pipdig,

    Thank you for contacting us. Yes that is correct, subscriptions previously created with the other Stripe plugin will continue to process as normal because my plugin maps the fields used by that plugin to fields used in this plugin.

    Your customers will not have to re-add.

    In addition, all of their saved payment methods will still be visible on their My Account > Payment Methods page.
