Does this plugin work nicely with Woocommerce Subscriptions?

It does not yet support subscriptions, no. However, we are about 90% done with this (all gateways work now except for Express Checkout) in our GitHub repo. This functionality will be completed and included in the 1.4.0 update.

It’s probably going to be a month or so before that update is ready, but it will be a big one that will include lots of new features.

    Sounds good.
I like your plugin so I’d like to use it also for subscriptions.

If you want to pull that branch specifically from our GitHub repo, yes, it should work. I have not yet thoroughly reviewed it, but we do have a couple of people using it already.

It would have to be Pro PayFlow, not DoDirectPayment. If that’s what you’re using and you want to give it a try you can download this branch: https://github.com/angelleye/paypal-woocommerce/archive/Issue-10-payflow-subscriptions.zip

Update that on your site manually and it should make PayFlow from our plugin compatible with Subscriptions.

Again, though, you should run some tests of your own before launching it as I have not yet fully tested it myself.
