Woocommerce Stripe payment no longer working with Sydney Theme

  • Hi everyone,

    After doing some theme testing (before moving onto plugin, and having some customer complaints about transactions not being able to be processed), I discovered the that theme we have been using for the past year or so now, has suddenly stopped working, not allowing credit card details to be placed into the checkout fields set by stripe.

    I changed the theme over to the Twenty Twenty One theme by wordpress and the fields seemed to interact fine, so there seems to be something wrong with the sydney theme itself.

    The css formatting of the credit card fields seems also broken, and even setting a simple minimal height doesn’t help, as the fields are still non-interactable, this wasn’t an issue before in the past.

    Any assistance you can help with would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for reporting the trouble.

    I’ve forwarded this to our development team to investigate further. The fix will be immediately available in upcoming theme update if we are able to reproduce this issue with the theme.

    Hi Kharis,

    Thank you so much for this and I do hope its something that can be resolves soon, we are temporarily using paypal as well as a fall back, but we would prefer to use Stripe instead, as you theme has been doing great otherwise for us until this point.

    I hope we can hear back soon of an update.
