    Hi,
I would need some help. I am having problems translating some woocommerce strings (such as the phrase “View cart”) through translatepress. The thing is that the phrase “View cart” appears in the Italian field of translatepress and I have no way to edit it with its actual Italian translation.

Can you help me? Thank you in advance!

    Hi,

That string should be a gettext one by default, thus translatable in default language also. Did you exclude it somehow or any other plugin domain from translation using the Exclude Gettext Strings feature in TP Settings –> Advanced tab –> Exclude strings section?

    Hi Alex,
no, I have never used the function Exclude Gettext Strings. I am sending you a screen to show you that the text in question is not translatable because the field containing it is not editable.
Maybe the screen can help: https://pasteboard.co/90WdMOvoN0gv.png

Hi Alex, Any news about the translation problem?

    Hi,

That string is a normal one, although it should be a gettext/dynamic string in order to be editable in default language as well. BY default, that string is a gettext/dynamic one, but probably another code alter the way is displayed. You can try a compatibility test to find the plugin, but as it is right now, it is not translatable in default language.
