• On the start page that is generated automatically in WooCommerce, the following code is written: [recent_products per_page = “50” columns = “4”]. The page shows dual sets of products. In the second set, they can be sorted (https://catarinakylberg.se/butik_old/). In order to get only one set of products, I created a new page and added the same code (https://catarinakylberg.se/webbshop/). It worked but on that page, it is not possible to sort them or change it in another display order.
How do I do to get a home page in the store with a set of products where I can decide in which order they will be presented?

  • The shortcode that ‘worked’ is the one that does not allow sorting. Sorting is available on the shop archive page. You need to specify the required page as shop page in Woocommerce settings, that is what decides the proper display of products (the one allowing sorting). Although it wont show just “recent”, but all of your products. Display order can be changed in Woocommerce options (Products > Display).

But if I use the shop page all the products are shown twice, which is shown in https://catarinakylberg.se/butik_old/. In two other WooCommerce shops it is not the case. I only whant the products to show up once.
