WooCommerce Square Sync failed. Please try again

Getting the above error when trying to sync products. I have cleared every cache I know to, I deleted every item in the catalog and tried a re-import. It imports 299 products and then gives the error. There are no substantive error messages in the Square snap-in log file.
I have tried to uninstall and re-install the connector and it made no difference. I’ve been down for a few days now. Looking for any help I can find.
