For the last month I’ve been trying to figure out why my shop page created by woocommerce won’t show anything but the “No products found matching your selection” message when browsing to the page. I have created my products, categories etc which show up fine when browsing to the actual product link.

All my themes and plugins are the most recent versions. My woocommerce>settings>display settings are below in a screenshot.

I’ve tried de-activating all plugins except for woocommerce and get the same result. I even uploaded the storefront theme, activated it with plugins still de-activated and the same issue persists.

Yet when I do a fresh install with both themes at another place on the server without any modifications all is fine and I can see the products on the product page.

I am using the accesspress-lite theme with a child theme which has been working fine for over a year now with just the woocommerce gift certificate plugin activated and setup. Because this seems to be an issue with every theme I try I believe it must be something to do with woocommerce somehow.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to troubleshoot this further? It is a live site so I can only work on it during the off hours of early morning. Starting to wear me down.

Thanks for your reply. I had posted on the woocommerce forum but didn’t get a reply so I decided to rebuild the whole site from scratch on a different server and than upload it back to the original server once I confirmed it works.

Took me about 3 weeks to rebuild and upload. Still don’t know why the shop page never showed products/categories etc. The only difference to both installations was the database so I have to assume the issue must be in the original database somewhere.

Just bad luck I guess, because I have other shops with the same install and plugins and everything works fine.
