Woocommerce Shop Page not found Error 404

I noticed recently that I cannot access the Woocommerce Shop Page anymore. Error 404 pops up when I click on the empty shopping cart (which used to divert to Shop) in the menu, or from WP Dashboard – Visit Store, or by just trying to View the page from page builder. I have tried:
Upgrade of Theme (most recent version of Divi 3.12)
Upgrade of Woocommerce to latest version 3.4.4
I’m still on Wordpres 4.8.7

I have also tried updating/customising permalinks, I deleted the page completely and re-installed it from Woocommerce – Tools – Create default WooCommerce pages, but no luck. The other WC default pages Cart, Checkout, My Account all work.
If I go to Woocommerce – Status – System status – Woocommerce pages the Shop base lists the correct page and ID in green, so appears WC recognises it’s there but can’t find it when called up.

I currently have a pligin in stalled that diverts any 404 error to the home page so it looks normal when someone clicks any of the links that lead to Shop page.

Anyone got any ideas how to fix this?
