    Hi,
    recently something changed – now I can’t edit the sidebar selection of my shop main page (woocommerce product archive) in the page editor anymore. Instead, there is a notice telling me to go to the widgets screen and activate the shop sidebar for product archives in the “sidebar location” options of the sidebar itself. This does not work for me.

    no worries – yes, the issue still persists.
    Why can’t I change the sidebar of the shop archive on it’s editor screen anymore?

    I’m unsure… I’m also unsure if this is a Widgets on Pages issue, rather than something WooCommerce related.
    Would you mind sharing a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

    Yes, I don’t think this is an issue with the Widgets on Pages plugin. From the screenshot this doesn’t appear to be an admin screen that this plugin provides.

    Possibly you should raise this query with the wooCommerce folk (or another plugin that provides the features you’re using).
