    Hi All,

I’ve previously set up shipping classes for Canada, US, and everywhere else in WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping Zones. The correct shipping flat rates show up during checkout, but lately I cannot view the shipping zones in my Settings page anymore. I also cannot Add new shipping zones or make any changes; the page either stays static or it refreshes with no changes.

Why do I not have access to my shipping zones / classes even though they’re still in effect? I also want to add a Local Pickup option but the buttons to add new ones are non-actionable.

    Thanks to those who’ve helped!

  • Hi there,

    > Why do I not have access to my shipping zones / classes even though they’re still in effect?

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
    ?
The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

I hope this points you in the right direction.

    Hi Siew,

Thank you for your suggestions as I was able to discover that the child theme was the issue. The shipping zones / classes show up if I use Storefront or the parent theme.

    Take care!
