• I am looking to set up shipping zones in Woocommerce. However the settings tab has changed from last version. I have installed table rates thinking that would solve the problem but i am still struggling to find the shipping zone settings tab?!

Ideally i would like to have each product defined by weight then priced by shipping zone.

Any help would be great. ??

  • That’s exactly what we need.
Did you have any luck on finding a solution?

    I now use Woocommerce weight/country.

I set up weights for each item and defined the shipping zones by selecting which countries fall into each group. Example below.

WEIGHT | COST | COUNTRY GROUP

    5| 16.666 | 1
    5| 25 | 2

    15| 20 | 1
    15| 40 | 2

A 5kg item will cost 16.666 if shipping to country group 1
    or
A 5kg item will cost 25 if shipping to country group 2

    hope this helps.

Thanks for the prompt reply Graham, I am wondering how these country codes look to the user. For example, do they come up in a drop down box for the user to select or is it defined by their respective locations?
    Sorry for the noob questions

When the customer chages his/her location in the dropdown the shipping costs change correspondingly.

The users do not see the back end grouping of countries.
