    Hi everyone,
    I am completely stumped about why I can’t get this to work – it might involve the Canada Post shipping plugin so if this is a “premium plugin” issue and it’s not appropriate to ask for help here, please let me know.

    I am trying to make the Woocommerce shipping function to deliver to all of Canada via Canada Post plugin (to get rates), AND offer local pickup within Alberta only. The shipping rate calculator works perfectly.

    Currently, local pickup is Canada-wide which is causing issues because people “forget” to select their shipping method if they are outside the logical pick up area.

    I have two Shipping zones set up:
    1. Zone region: Canada – local pickup
    2. Zone region: Alberta – local pickup

    Obviously, local pickup is showing Canada-wide because of 1. Zone region: Canada – local pickup BUT when I remove this zone, local pickup is no longer an option to Alberta addresses as well as addresses outside of Alberta.

    How do I make it so Alberta offers local pickup + shipping options and the rest of Canada MUST choose a shipping option with no local pickup available?

    @mugwumpr it was actually the simplest of things that I totally overlooked…

    1: Zone region: Canada – local pickup included all of Canada which means it included Alberta and was overriding that setting.

    I had to enter all provinces separately excluding Alberta and then I had to set that zone to “No shipping methods offered to this zone.” to make it default to the Canada Post shipping method (otherwise the only options are free shipping, flat rate and local pickup).
