    Hello, everyone,
I am creating a website selling courses (classroom courses), and I have been asked if it is possible, in the user login area, after completing the PRESENTIAL course, to have access to their course completion certificate (PDF) from their customer area / login area.

I said that, in this case, it would be better to send the PDF via email to the user who has completed the face-to-face course, but the customer wants the user to download it from their customer area.
I’ve searched for various ways of asking this question and haven’t found an answer… Can anyone help me?

I use Divi as my main theme (in case that helps solve the problem).

    Hi @luiscalado

Thanks for reaching out on the WooCommerce forum.

I understand you want students to be able to access their course completion certificates (PDF) from their My Account area after completing a presential course.

For this, you would need to make use of a plugin that allows you to upload files to user profiles.

One such plugin is File Upload for WooCommerce. This plugin allows you to attach files to orders and products. These files can then be downloaded via the customer’s account page.

If you have any pre-sales questions, please contact us at:

    https://woo.com/contact-us/#sales-form

From there, click on the tab “I have a question about a specific extension or theme I’d like to purchase.” We will be able to help you further there.

Just so you know, we offer a 30-day refund policy so you can test out the extension with your requirements and make sure it works for you.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply, but from what I’ve seen this plugin only allows you to add a “file upload” from the user… The idea would be for me, the admin, to add these files to your customer area after, for example, 5 days from your purchase. That file would be the pdf of the certificate of completion of the PRESENTIAL course.

If you’re still deciding on an LMS, I highly recommend considering SensiLMS, not only because it’s developed by our team, but also has an automatic certificate creation feature. :?)

I also stumbled upon this guide on how to add a custom file upload field for customers to download. Please note that custom solutions fall outside the scope of our support policy.

If you’d like to customize the code in the guide further, consider hiring one of the vetted WooExpert agencies here for assistance.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
