Woocommerce search products

I have been trying to set up a store with woocommerce and oceanwp, however, the search function spits out the results more like a blog post as a product. No add to cart button, etc.

I have also been trying to use https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-product-search/, the official product search plugin for woocommerce, and supposedly it should switch out the default search everywhere to woocommerce product search. It works with other themes, however it does not seem to work with OceanWP.

Any idea how to get around this problem or how to implement a similar functionality (similar plugin maybe)? I don’t use a visual builder.
