    Hello,

The Woocommerce search bar does not show all tagged products, as I have over 200 products with the product tag “feminist” and only 24 show up when searching.

Is this a bug? How can I get all tagged products I search for to show up?

    Best,
    Chris

I understand not all your tagged products are showing in search results.

We found a guide that addresses this concern. See this: https://blog.expertrec.com/woocommerce-search-not-working-how-to-fix/

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have further questions or if you need further assistance.

    hi @oaoyadeyi

Thanks but this article does not help. This article is basically telling me to buy their plugin.

I have upgraded to the latest wordpress, disabled plugins, tried a different theme and nothing fixes the issue with searching for tags.

For example, when searching for “feminist” only 24 show up when searching the 200 products with the product tag “feminist”. One of the which did not show is name “Helene studs”. When I search for “Helena studs”, the product shows up.

This looks like it’S only related to product tags.

    Can someone please help?

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing back!

If I understood correctly, you would like product tags to be used for search results. For that, you would need an additional plugin because WooCommerce’s default search will not go through the tags.

You can see that WooCommerce correctly lists all your products with the tag “feminist” by adding /product-tag/feminist at the end of your domain name. But, if you search for “feminist” you only get products that have that word somewhere in the description or title.

For your goals, I would suggest this plugin, but there’s a wide variety of “advanced” search plugins for WooCommerce that you can choose from.

Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

    Hi @paulostp

Thanks for your response. How can I see which search bar I am using? I thought this was the WooCommerce Product Search. At Least this is what Elementor told me “Unfortunately, you seem to be using the Product Search widget, which is a WordPress/WooCommerce widget and not an Elementor widget.”

    Can someone please help?

    Best,
    Chris

    Hi Chris!

Checking through the Inspector, it looks like you’re using the WooCommerce Product Search widget (Extension) inside of an Elementor widget container.

Also, when searching for the tag feminist the results are slightly different from checking your product-tag/feminist as Paulo mentioned!

I’d recommend creating a new page, just to add the WooCommerce Product Search widget, for testing purposes. The blocks that the extension provides are gathered under WooCommerce Product Search in the block browser.

If you’re still having issues with that, I’d recommend checking it out directly with the plugin developer, they can double-check all the settings for you!

    All the best!
