    WooCommerce Schedule Sale

Is anyone having issues with this? This is the second time someone brought this to my attention. It seems that when you are scheduling a product to go on sale using the schedule in the product page, it’s not putting the product on sale when the day arrives; it seems to make the system put the “Sale” badge or “% off” badge on the product, strikes out the original price, but display the sale price as the original one still.

For example: We set the sale of the product to go on sale today, Dec 1st 2023 2 days ago. Today came, the product went on “sale” but isn’t the sale price isn’t there. However, when you switch the date to the previous date, so Nov 30th 2023, save the product, then it works. Anyone come in contact with this bug?

I’ve checked the WP CRON for wc schedule sale… it runs. But for some reason, it doesn’t want to replace the original price with the sale price that was set.

  • We are also having this issue still.

Every time we bulk edit products to place a sale schedule, the sale is scheduled with the right price but it shows no change on the live website. We bulk edit because we put hundreds of products on sale every week or every other week. Individually scheduling them is a tedious and excruciating task, which is what we’re forced to do now.

We are also experiencing the same issue with scheduled sales not updating product prices correctly on the specified sale dates. Despite following all the recommended troubleshooting steps provided by the WooCommerce Support team, the problem persists.

When we schedule a product to go on sale on a future date, the “Sale” badge appears on the product page, and the regular price gets struck through on the sale start date. However, the actual sale price does not get applied. The product continues to display the regular price instead of the scheduled sale price.

We have tried the following steps to resolve this issue without success:

    1. Ensuring sale prices and date ranges are correctly configured.
    2. Reviewing and verifying scheduled sales settings.
    3. Clearing all caching plugins and server-side caches.
    4. Testing on a staging site as well as the live site.
    5. Disabling all third-party plugins and entering troubleshooting mode.
    6. Checking that the WP-Cron system is running and executing the scheduled sales event.

Even after performing these steps diligently, the scheduled sale prices are not being applied on the specified dates. This appears to be a persistent issue affecting multiple WooCommerce sites.

We would greatly appreciate it if the development team could investigate and provide a resolution, as scheduled sales are a critical functionality for many online stores. Please let us know if any additional information or log files would be helpful in diagnosing and resolving this scheduled sales pricing bug.

    Hi,

I am currently using the following versions of WordPress and WooCommerce:

    • WooCommerce Version: 8.9.3
    • WordPress Version: 6.6.1

I have encountered an issue where the sale price schedule end date for a product was set to 2024-08-01. Despite this, the sale price is still being displayed on the front end of the website. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue? It seems that the sale price is not expiring as expected.
