WooCommerce Sales Tax Not Applying! Help!

Hey Mark,

I just tried adding an item to the cart and going to check out. When I entered a full address in Toronto, the sales tax did apply. Here’s a screenshot of what I’m seeing:

Try using a private browser window and see if it will work with a complete shipping address. It may not show the price with tax until the address is completely filled in.

Okay so I just tried it with that same product you tried in the screenshot above and it worked!

However, when I tried with the full bodylight red light therapy device it didn’t apply the tax for that product some reason.

Check this screenshot out… I’ve got the CO2 course and a red light device in the cart and tax is only added on the course.

Hi @endalldisease1,

Kindly check whether the Red Light Therapy Bodylight product is set to taxable in it’s Product Data → General → Tax Status.

If it isn’t, make the status taxable and test whether the tax will be shown during checkout.
