    Hello,

I’ve searched the forums but couldn’t find a fix for my issue.

Recently I came across a product where the rounding isn’t working properly.

    As an example:

    I order this product: https://prnt.sc/10kf3pt – €3,50 (incl. 9% VAT)
And I add an egg as an extra topping: https://prnt.sc/10kf51n – €0,55 (incl. 9% VAT)
In total that should be: €4,05. But the subtotal is showing as: €4,04 in the cart (https://prnt.sc/10kf6k3).

Why is this? Is this some rounding issue in WooCommerce? Is there an fix?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hello @leoro123 ,

Okay, are you using a separate plugin to add the extra add-on as topping with the product?

Out of the box, WooCommerce does not have this feature so I have used two different products with similar prices as yours and included 9% tax on them.

For me, the rounding works as expected, the sub-total is $4.05.

I will recommend doing a similar test on your site as well, with two separate products. If you still face the issue while testing with two products please share screenshots of your WooCommerce > Settings > General and Tax options page.

If the problem only occurs with the extra add-on plugin then reach out to the plugin developer for further suggestions. If the extension you are using is from WooCommerce.com then create a ticket to discuss this further.

    Thank you ??

    Hi Rashed,

Yes, for the product add-ons I use the official WooCommerce plugin: ”
    WooCommerce Product Add-ons”.

In your example you use the products with tax included. But on this site the products are setup as prices excl. VAT.

Here are the tax settings: https://prnt.sc/10le8p5

    Hello @leoro123 ,

WooCommerce rounds tax either per line (per item) or in the sub-total level. For me, if I do not round the tax on the sub-total level then the calculation seems to be your expected one. From your screenshot, it looks like you are also not rounding at the sub-total level.

Can you enable the rounding at the sub-total level – https://prnt.sc/10mi0cl and let me know the outcome?

As I mentioned earlier, doing a test with two separate products instead of WooCommerce Product-addons can make it easier to identify the problem.

If the issue only happens with the extension of the add-ons, you need to create a ticket on WooCommerce.com to get further suggestion.

    Thank you ??
