Woocommerce – Retrieving Shipping Class – Displaying Shipping Class Product Page

Hi Guys

I’m using shipping classes and have found on a different post the following code to display a product’s set shipping class on the product page:

Shipping Cost: <?php echo $product->get_shipping_class(); ?>

I just can’t get it to work! I’ve put it in the fuctions.php file and it just crashes the site.

I’d like it to appear on every product page, an example of our product pages is: https://olsonbaker.com/product/boule/

I’d love it to appear as below:
