Woocommerce remove product filter

  • Hello everyone, this is my first post! This seems like a great resource for up and coming WP stars!

    I am trying to remove the standard ‘sort by’ and ‘show xx per page’ filters from ALL product and category pages. I only have a few products to display. There is NO custom coding on the site.

    remove_action( ‘woocommerce_before_shop_loop’, ‘woocommerce_catalog_ordering’, 30 );

    I used this snippet in the child’s function.php file and it didn’t work. Can someone please supply me with the correct remove action/hook/whatever it needs?! Thanks in advance
