    Hi there,

I have been investigating an issue in Woocommerce with their support and they have suggested it might be caused by caching.

The issue is when I am refunding a customer, if I uncheck the box ‘Restock Refunded Items’ the items still go back in stock. I have tested this on a staging site to rule out plugin or theme conflicts.

With your SG Optimizer plugin I have setup exclusions for the cart, checkout and account pages, but are there more pages I should be excluding to prevent issues, including this one?

    Thanks!

    Hey there @ehmarketing,

Could you please provide an URL and steps to replicate this issue as well, so we can troubleshoot that? Since you have tested it on a staging site, we can test it there.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

Such behaviour happens when 3rd party plugins don’t play nice with persistent object caching. Disable Memcached or the extra Woo plugins associated with the refund process and the problem won’t occur.

    Hi @stoyangeorgiev

The staging site is behind a maintenance screen. Where can I send you login details?

    Hi @hristo-sg

Memcached was not enabled on the live or staging site. I have created a brand new staging site, so the plugins on my staging site and live site are exactly the same, however this issue doesn’t happen on the staging site.

As you are sure it isn’t a caching issue, and I cannot see it being a plugin conflict if it works on an exact copy of the site, that this must be caused elsewhere. I will explore the possibility this is coming from the payment gateway perhaps.
