• Dear all,
we have set 75000+ products shop with WP and Woocommerce. However, main glitch now is product search in backend. After Redis installation we managed to handle front end search but backend is still really slow. Default edit.php?post_type=product takes 13-15sec to open.
Main question is whether Woocommerce uses Redis by default in backend search since for the moment it doesn’t look like that (on every search it goes directly to mysql service?).
Thank you for your answers and suggestions.

  • Take a look at using Elasticsearch with ElasticPress for improved front-end and back-end search for products and orders.
