woocommerce recent by category shortcode?

    Seems like this would be a very obvious shortcode, but I can’t find an answer anywhere.

    I would like to display the most recent products from a specific category on a page.

    I’ve found a shortcode for recent products from ALL categories and a shortcode for products from a specific category (but not the latest products). I thought if I chose a specific category I could then select a sorting option that would be default only show the most recent, but I can’t figure it out.

    Sorry if this is a super lame problem.

    duh…spend hours trying to figure it out. Post a question and then figure it out five minutes later. LOL
