Woocommerce query 2 categories together on a product category page

If I understand you correctly, you would like to include external products within your category. Assuming that’s true, you’ll want to use the ‘external’ product type: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/#section-16

If I’m not correct, can you let me know a bit more about what you’re trying to do?

I am trying to make a product category with 2 product category in.
It has to be in wp_query need it to get all sale products. Need them in a product category else will filter plugin not work. It will only connect to a product category

Hey there Morten,

On reading through your question, I’m not sure what the problem is. @imazed suggested creating products of the type “external” that means these will be normal products that you can sort and filter as usual. You could create a product category that contains just those two products if you wanted to.

Can you explain a bit more about why this approach won’t work for you, please?
