    Good Day Guys!

I’ve run into some issue which I honestly have no idea what may have caused it, or how to troubleshoot / fix it.

We’re using WP All Import to keep our stock and pricing up to date with XML Feeds, and upon checking the logs these products are actually being updated and marked in stock (provided they are.)

However, we recently marked all of our products out of stock, then planned to run a stock update using the XML Feeds to mark them back in stock. (We did this to mark any products out of stock that have been deleted from the database on our distributors website)

After marking all these products out of stock, and running an update to mark only the existing ones in stock, everything has remained out of stock (in some areas, this is the confusing part?)

We’re using the option within Woocommerce itself to “Hide Products marked out of stock from the catalog” This had led to having almost all of our products hidden from the catalog and being unable to be searched for. Though, as I said earlier when checking the logs of WP All Import these products are indeed marked in stock, and if visiting the product page directly from Google, the product is in stock and can be added to the cart.

We’re also using the Woocommerce Advanced Bulk Edit Plugin to manage our products in bulk, and they are all marked out of stock here. But when using Woocommerce’s default product editor one by one, the relevant products are all marked in stock?

An easy way for us to overcome this temporarily, would be to disable Woocommerce’s “Hide Out of Stock products from Catalog” feature, but this will lead to a lot of products that are out of stock being shown too.

Has anyone ever had this issue, or perhaps have some guidance for us on how to trouble shoot this? As to me, it almost seems like there is 2 instances of “Stock Status” going on here. For reference, products which we do have stock quantities of, are not having this issue. It’s only products which we need marked in stock, but do not have quantities for.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions, this is really confusing & urgent!

Is your store using any kind of CDN or caching? It’s possible that the updates to the products are there but just aren’t showing because of an extremely persistent cache somewhere. This is usually caused when a server in the system didn’t get flushed properly or just didn’t pull that backend information when it crawled your site previously.

I’d recommend flushing any caches you have access to and contact your web host to see if they can flush anything they can.

    Hi again @seanbrmener!

Since we haven’t heard anything from you in a while, I’m going to mark this thread as resolved. However, if you need any further assistance with this issue, please let us know. Thanks!
