    Hi Support Team,

I just linked a course to a Woocommerce Product.

Everything works fine but if a “Add to the Cart” a Course, whem im in the WooCommerce Cart Page, if i click the product i go to the “Woocommerce Product Page” wich has no information.

Navigating on the demo page of “Tutor LMS” i can see that if i click on the course on the “Woocommerce Cart” Page i go to the course page, no to the Woocommerce Product.

How can i achieve this behavior? I dont want to display products of Woocoommerce, only the Course Page.

    Regards,
    Daniel

  • Hello @danisantanacl,

You can manipulate the cart behavior from Woocommerce Settings > Products > Add to Cart behavior.

If you haven’t created any product then you may not see any product info on woocommerce product page. You need to create a product first then attach it to its relevant course to create the link between product and course.

Please follow the “Tutor LMS” documentation.

To use WooCommerce as your eCommerce platform, you need to enable WooCommerce from
Dashboard > Tutor LMS > Settings > Monetization (Tab) > (select) WooCommerce.

When WooCommerce is enabled, the following section will appear on the Course creation page.

Here’s how the system works, first you need to create a product with WooCommerce, set the price (regular or sale), and then publish it. Once an item is created, you can then link that product to a course and the course will be sold via that product.

Let’s see the entire process with an example. First, we need to create a product that will be used to sell a course, let’s say the course is “Introduction to Photography”.

Now we need to create a product. So, browse to Dashboard > Products > Add New. Let’s use the same name as our course title so that we can keep track easily. While creating a product, we need to pay attention to the following features:

    • Product Type – Simple Product
    • Virtual – Enabled
    • For Tutor – Enabled
    • Price – Set a price

When everything is set, we can now publish the course. Lets head over to the “Introduction to Photography” course. It’s time to assign the newly created product to our course. Navigate to the Add Product section and choose the desired product from the dropdown list. Finally, click Update (or Publish, if you’re creating the course from scratch).

Our job is done here. Now anyone would be able to add this course to the cart or to the wishlist and buy the course anytime they want.

    Hi Support Team,

I’m trying to build a lms website with docent theme. I have created a Woocommerce (simple) Product – (Dashboard > Products > Add New), added categories and tags. Now when I create the course I can add it as a product by choosing the product from the dropdown list.
But when I’m adding another course, the dropdown list gets blank and does not show any product, not even the one I created. Please help me with this

    Hello @jaxcatz,

You can’t add more than one course to a single woocommerce product. Tutor LMS allows single course for a single woocommerce product.

    Hello @munayam,

I’m having a little challenge with the Tutor LMS plugin. I created a video lecture but students couldn’t have access to the video lecture as the link show 404 error “Not Found:
The requested URL was not found on this server.”

How can this problem be resolved pls?

@danisantanacl How did you resolve this? I have the same issue.

    Hey @cablue,

As this is a quite old thread, the previous solution might not work for you. Can you please open a new thread with the details of your situation?
