WooCommerce Product Variations – The variation is a required field

    Hi there,

    For all product variations on my WooCommerce site, I am getting the following error:

    “Date of course is a required field”

    As shown here:

    After looking into this further, I have checked the variations and added a variation with a price as shown below:

    The strange thing that happens here though is that when I set the above values and click on ‘Save Changes’, all three selections revert back to ‘Any Date of course…’

    I tested this on my local and this is working fine, I don’t get this error. So I am thinking it’s an issue with a setting on the server possibly?

    Has anybody come across this issue? If so, how would this be resolved?

    I tested this on my local and this is working fine

    Do you have the same plugins and theme on your test environment? Can you also clear transients and cache in WooCommerce > Status > Tools and check again?

    Thank you for the update. Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Hi @silvawebdesigns

    It looks like you’ve removed variations from the product. Does the same issue occur when you re-add attribute?

    I have the same version of WooCommerce and WordPress installed on my test site and variable products are working properly. If the issue still persists on your site, I believe it’s caused by something that’s unique to your store (e.g. custom code if not conflict with plugin or theme).
