    Hello Support,

The issue I am having is about the display of all the variations even though I didn’t add it under the “Variations” tab. To show this, please have a look on the list of my product variations below (I just list 2 different products):

    1. Size: 3.5×2 – Unique
    Quantity: 250
    500
    1000
Product Type: 1 Side 28pt Black Cards + 1 Foil Color
    1 Side 28pt Black Cards + 2 Foil Color
    26pt Gold Metallic + 1 Foil Color
    26pt Gold Metallic + 2 Foil Color
    28pt Matte Laminated + 1 Foil Color
    28pt Matte Laminated + 2 Foil Colors
    28pt Uncoated + 1 Foil Color
    28pt Uncoated + 2 Foil Color

    2. Size: 6×9
    Quantity: 500
    1000
    2500
    5000
Product Type: 1 Side 28pt Black Cards + 1 Foil Color
    1 Side 28pt Black Cards + 2 Foil Color
    26pt Gold Metallic + 1 Foil Color
    26pt Gold Metallic + 2 Foil Color
    28pt Matte Laminated + 1 Foil Color
    28pt Matte Laminated + 2 Foil Colors
    28pt Uncoated + 1 Foil Color
    28pt Uncoated + 2 Foil Color

I have added the above variations VERY carefully – See here: https://qsnapnet.com/folders/9hea9mxk4cce4s4 but if you go to the front-end (see here https://ecolor.ca/product/foil-cards-2-2/), you can see there that under “Size:6×9” you can see all the attributes for the Quality (from 250 to 5000) and for Product Type.

    Can anyone please help me?

    Anyone, please help.

By the way, I got this error Sorry, no products matched your selection. Please choose a different combination.

    Hi,

I think no one cares to post a reply here. But I want to ask @mike Jolley if Woocommerce – Variable products can act as Conditional Options – Options dependent on another option?

Maybe similar to this – https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=13882&filter_search=dependent%20options?

Because I have done all the recommended steps, but still I got the issue. And I think that the product variations that I have done is clearly a conditional options – option dependent on another option and that Woocommerce is not capable of this functionality.

    Hi Royho,

I appreciate your response to this topic. I have checked the link and it looks powerful. But upon checking on the documentation, I think it’s not what I am looking for.

If you have time, please have a look at the product here- https://ecolor.ca/product/canvas-2/ (our website)

All data are derived from other website – https://www.zoomprinting.ca/canvas.htm

If you try to select Size: 12×12, it should have Quantities of “1,2.3” and Product Type of “1 Side Mounted Canvas” as found on the other website. However, if you try to select the Size to 12×12, you will see that under Quantity it has all the attributes (1,2,3,4,5) and so with the Product Type.

I don’t understand why it’s showing like that since I carefully added all variations exactly the same. If you need the credentials at the back-end please let me know so I can show you what I am talking about.

    Hello?

    Hey Jarutosurano,

I’m sorry I’m not replying with a solution. I’m also having the same problem. It was never like that before then I guess woocommerce updated itself and now it’s displaying all possible variations even though I didn’t create them. What makes it worse is your post is the only thing google found when I went looking for other people with the same problem.

This really does make for a bad user experience. Especially being that I have 2 attributes with MANY options.

Any one out there with a solution?

    Hey Nick,

How many products do you have? Can you provide me the link?

did you find a solution to this?

Make your own threads, don’t bump up others.

I have found that this issue occurs when you go over 30 product variations.

up until 30 it works, as soon as you hit 31 you now see all possible attributes and get the “Sorry, no products matched your selection. Please choose a different combination.” message…

so how do we tweak this so that you can show more than 30?
