    please ??

My understanding is that when you upload an image, a “thumbnail” version of the image is created by WordPress, not by WooCommerce. WordPress uses the size at Admin page / Settings / Media / Thumbnail size to make the thumbnail version.

This thumbnail version is downloaded to the user’s browser where it is rescaled up or down to fit the space allocated on the page by the theme, again not by WooCommerce.

You won’t want to set the thumbnail size too small relative to the page space, otherwise the image will look pixelated when its scaled up.

To alter the page space, either you may need to alter the number of products per row (there is some Woo code to do this or there is a plugin which may do it) and/or you may need some custom css to tweak the page layout. Some experimentation with these several factors may be required to get a look that is right for you. Alternately, you could look round at other themes to see if they give you the required look.

Thank you for your answer. I really appreciate it. However I did change the size of the product image on the theme through admin page/settings/media/thumbnail size but I still cannot see any change when I upload the thumbnail on woo commerce.

    Check the page please

Hi, i think you need to set all product image sizes in WooCommerce > Settings > Products (Since WC 2.1+).

Then you can regenerate all existing thumbnails with Regenerate Thumbnail plugin.

You can check this official documentation, hope it helps.

@terrytsang is right – we have posted about this on our blog at https://www.cbdweb.net/woocommerce-and-image-sizes/ which also links to the Woocommerce documentation. Unfortunately, even paid themes from WooThemes don’t appear to use the available hook to set the image sizes on theme activation, so this procedure is a must every time you set up a WooCommerce site.

Hi @nikdow, glad it helped, cheers!

Hello @terrytsang, you saved my life ??

Hello @sandroeg, glad it saved your life, cheers!
