Woocommerce Product SEO metadata and Yoast

    I know yoast now offers a upsale for woocommerce configuration. Is this why there seems to be no way to input product variables such as Category into the metadata fields? Ive looked around for hours and every solution I find, no longer works or has been removed somehow.

    %%cf_product_cat%%
    %%product_cat%%
    %%product%%

    anyone know the correct taxonomy for the woocommerce variables? would be much appreciated.
