    Hi,

I am working on a e-commerce website. I am done with everything. I made the website live and then some people said the product prices are not shown correctly. Then, I accessed to my WordPress website and checked the prices. They were correct. After that, what I did is I checked the website from another mobile to see the problem.
The problem is- On my WordPress website, the prices are shown correctly on the back-end. But when the customers are viewing the website, the prices are different. I also checked with Tax options. When I select the option to enter tax inclusive, then the above problem is encountered and when I do it exclusive, the customers can see the prices correctly (But for variable products, the prices are are not shown correctly), but in my back-end, the prices are shown wrong.
Consider this situation: In Tax options,
have enabled ‘ Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax’ and
Display prices in the shop: Including tax
Display prices during cart & checkout: Excluding tax
    Display tax totals: Itemized
If the product price is Rs. 41,925, then on the product page, this price is rightly shown on the back-end of my WordPress website where I edit / design. But, for the viewers / customers, the price shown is Rs. 35,529.66

If I enable now in Tax options as : ‘No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax’,
Then the price shown on the product page is Rs.49,471.50 on my back end of the WordPress website. And the customers can view the correct product prices (simple) but not for variable products.

Please help me with this problem! I don’t understand why this problem has encountered suddenly. I tried disabling all the plugins / themes but still not showing up.

    HI there!

Taxes are based on customer location so a customer needs to have entered a billing address in order for taxes to be correct if they are applicable to that address.

Under WooCommerce > Settings > General you can set the “Default Customer Location” to be that of your store instead. Then, as long as your store address is an address that has a tax rate set for it, products will show as including tax by default (if you’ve set prices to show including tax of course).

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Team

I am also facing the issue. Right now, we are running our e-commerce portal in India. So, here in India, the tax system is different by states. So, we cannot set the shop base location in the tax system.

In my website, prices are showing including tax when the user is logged in and their address is mentioned in their profile. But for new user with no account, prices are showing excluding tax, however in my woocommerce settings, we have mentioned including tax option in shop and excluding tax option on checkout page.

Basically, we need that all the users logged in and without logged in, they can see all prices including tax on all pages and based on their address, the prices will be excluding taxes and we want that tax calculations should happened on checkout page.

    Thanks
