Woocommerce Product Import

    Hi there, im trying to import products from one wordpress to the other using CSV. The file is only 1mb very small and it keeps stopping, i have tried over two days and it just hangs and doesn’t complete. I have imported file from our other websites which works no problem but this 1mb won’t import. Also the import process is very slow how to speed it up?. Today i tried one more time to import the 1mb file and set my laptop to stay on as i thought sleep mode was stopping the import. It seems WordPress is logging me out and on the import page when i log back in it says link expire, please help someone, TIA for any help given.

  • Hi @steved2002,

    Have you tried looking in WooCommerce > Status > Logs for any fatal error logs from the date/time when you’ve tried importing? Those can often hold clues to what’s causing problems.

    If there aren’t any, you might consider breaking up this CSV into smaller files. If there’s an issue with some of the data in the CSV, this could help you locate it.

    Say you split it into 10 files. If 9 of them work, that likely points to a problem with the 10th file. You could split it up into smaller chunks until you find the specific issue.

    Thanks for your reply, i think i ticked a wrong box in advance settings when i dowloaded/uploded without extra settings it worked faster
