Hi, been having problems with WooCommerce product images for days now. Still, there are some product images that look taller/bigger compared to the others. How can I possibly make them look the same and uniform in size?

On WooCommerce > Product Images I have set the main image width to 600, the thumbnail width to 300, and the thumbnail cropping to 1:1, and have regenerated the thumbnails many times already but still, some look weird, taller/bigger than the most images.

Thanks for reaching out.

Can you please try to switch to the default theme like Storefront, and see if it rectifies the issue?

I can see currently it’s calling 600×600 thumbnails instead of 300.

I tried switching the theme to Storefront and the issue still persists. It is still showing taller/bigger product images. Please see screenshots below.

Hi @phoenixoracle!

Your product images seem to be served within a uniform 300px X 300px grid. What seems to create the illusion of uneven product images is the source media files being in different layouts (portrait vs landscape). To visualize the difference in the source media files, please see two such products images from your site I have linked below:

Source file: Normal sized image

Source file: “Oversized” image
