[Plugin woocommerce] Woocommerce Product Download Problem

    Yesterday a customer contacted me advising that after they had completed the checkout process on my website for some software, the download link was sent to them but when they downloaded the zip file, it was empty.

    I tested it and sure enough it is. I uploaded a new zip file for the product after checking it had all the contents, but again when downloading via woocommerce it was again empty.

    I then uploaded via the WordPress media page and when directly to the URL. It worked, but then I set the URL for the product and again, empty!

    Today, I setup a brand new wordpress site, on a different server, no restores, installed woocommerce, created the product, uploaded the file and again it’s empty.

    Anyone else seeing this problem? Any ideas how to resolve?

  • Hi there, I had the same problem.
    For me It was a conflict between WooCommerce 2.2.x and “NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati”.

    I simply disabled the later one and the download function will work again.

    How did you find out that the NextGEN Gallery plugin was conflicting out of interest?

    I never actually resolved the issue but opted for an alternative way to deliver the files in the end
