• Hi,
does anybody know how to set ‘woocommerce product categories widget’ to display only on Shop page, where all products are listed and remove it from other pages like About, Contact, etc.?
    Child theme is installed.

Thank you very much for your help (in advance)

  • Hi,

In customizer – layout is the sidebar activated for all standard layout pages.
Per page you can choose to set it to standard – full width or homepage.
Chose “full widht”for the pages where you do not want the sidebar to be seen.

Yes, meanwhile I have managed to get to this solution.
Wasn’t sure if it is correct way to do so.

    Thank you again.

    Glad it worked out!

I have used that plugin ” Storefront Extension – Align Menu Right”.
Now the cart contents (amount, number of items in cart and cart icon)
are a bit lower than the rest of the menu.
I have tried several things, no result.
Would you know what to do?

    Thank you very much

Could you provide a link to where this is happening please?

    Thank you

    Hi,

I can see the difference indeed, strange.
If I use that plugin, I dont have that. Could it be you have some other custom css styling going on ( some css code snippets? ) that causes this?

I myself prefer using the Storefront PRO plugin from Pootlepress:
    https://www.pootlepress.com/shop/storefront-pro/

It lets you style almost anything without having to touch code. Option to align menu to the right, hamburger menu, menu centered and much much more. It also gives you a simple slidebar to drag the cart and menu items at the samen hight.

If you want to fix this with a good free plugin, I recommend:
    https://siteorigin.com/css/

It points out the css and lets you customize lots of things, check it out!
I often use it myself and really like the simplicity of it.

    Hi,
I already tried deleting custom css.
Did it today again, just to make sure, but it has no effect on this.
Looks like it will be something else, causing this.

Thank you for the tips on plugins, I will have a look.

Looks like it will be the plugin ” Storefront Extension – Align Menu Right”.
I’ve done little testing: got new domain, installed new WordPress, plugin, WooCommerce. When the plugin is activated cart contents (amount, number of items in cart and cart icon) are a bit lower than the rest of the menu.
When I deactivate plugin, they are on the same line as the rest of the menu.

Wonder, if this can be fixed?

    Hi,

If this is not caused by some other code ( css or in some functions.php ) you should be able to correct this using the free https://siteorigin.com/css/

It points out the css and lets you customize lots of things, check it out!

I tested it myself here: https://logologics.nl/broodje/

Installed the free align to the right plugin, and as you can see the cart is nicely on the same hight as the rest! It must be something else causing this.
Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to see if there is some sort of conflict causing this with a third party plugin?

    All is updated?
