Hi,
In advance thank you for any help given, I am facing an issue with product blocks in woocommerce.

Let me explain, to allow for the display of short description in woocommerce products I displayed the list of products using product blocks which gave me the layout my client wanted but then I face another issue.

although the product view is perfect as the client wants you can no longer go to details page or single product page as the product image and title are not linked to the single product details page.

I have searched everywhere and cannot seem to find a way to allow the use of the single product page via product blocks in gutenberg.

Can anyone help with this as to why this is not working.

Hi @jonathanservice76 ,

You can link the blocks to the product pages. Please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Click on the edit button as shown below:

2. Select the Product Block, and then make sure the Link to Product page option is enabled:

Hi, and thanks for quick response.

I should have given you more information my fault!

I am using short codes as this allows the short description to show in the product list, but if i use the woocommerce product block insert it does not show the short description.

is there a way to do this in shortcode?
